With annual turnover for the industry of over $12 billion the industry employs over 95,000 people. Employees working in the Transport and Storage industry often receive minimal Duty of Care and OH&S training.

Businesses are often small and budgetary constraints exist.

Mentor Training programs provide owners and operators of businesses within the transport and storage industry a comprehensive end-to-end training solution to their Risk management and OH&S obligations.

The primary focus of these programs is to address the issues of risk management, Duty of Care and OH&S associated with the operation of businesses in the transport and storage industry.

The programs provide a cost effective, easily implemented solution to the introduction of efficient risk management processes. Staff can be trained in a timely manner while providing owners with auditable evidence of successful course completion.

Owners, operators, managers and administrators can be confident that by implementing Mentor Training programs and following the processes described, they have gone a long way to level of reducing their culpability in the event of an incident.

The Mentor Training process is endorsed by the Transport Workers Union who will be working closely in the development and production of each module.
